Can't seem to connect to a local PowerPivot model

description

I have that PowerPivot file that we are using on a daily basis.

DAX Studio can't seem to be able to connect to the model, nor lists it as available connections.

Contacted David to check the w/b selection & possible usage of the book for testing if not resolved

Hi, there.

I have the same problem as mentioned above. However, It wasn't sorted out by rebooting.
PowerPivot Version 10.50.4000.0 is installed in Excel 2010 and a PPVT model is in the workbook from where I am trying to open DAX studio. It opens correctly but It doesn't connect to the model unfortunately

I installed both versions (1.0.1 and 1.0.0) but I didn't succeed.

I hope somebody could give me a hand. Thanks a lot,

David

Do you have a Pivottable saved in the PowerPivot workbook. At the moment we can only find a PowerPivot model by checking all the connections on all the pivot tables in your workbook.

Hi, all.

I had the PowerPivot v1 installed on my PC so I changed it to PPVT v2. Now Dax Studio seems to work :)
